Reps from the Australian Good Food Guide ( in each state of Australia ) enter data into the database on a daily basis. Every 18 months a book is compiled and distributed from the online database.
The web site produces a Pagemaker tag file from the database. This file is inserted into Page Maker with all the formatting of fonts, symbols, line spacing, indents, images etc...
What used to take 6 months to edit and compile, can now be produced from the web site in a matter weeks.
